Ooh Girl, Look at that Skin! How to Naturally Glow

Tan wise, last summer was terrible. For one, you should not go around looking like you spilled orange hair dye. Secondly, It should look -if not be- natural. Here's some tips and some products to help you get that perfect tan.

IF YOU WANT TO GO FAKE...

as in get a spray tan, Go with a shade that is 1 or 2 shades darker than your normal skin color. Beware that IF you go to the beach, or anywhere with sun for that matter, you will tan. So choose your color wisely.

DOIN' IT NATURAL.

For your body..

Getting a tan naturally is the safest possible way to get a tan. It takes a bit more work, but it is worth it. To start

  • Get some vitamins.

Yes, I said VITAMINS. Vitamins help naturally balance your system, putting the good in, and getting the bad out. The vitamin I suggest you start with is Nature's Bounty Hair Skin and Nails tablets. Click on the photo to view the product on Drugstore.com.

I personally take these and not only have I noticed a difference in my skin, my hair has also grown 3 inches and my nails look fake. Just Sayin..

Next,

  • Get a tanning body moisturizer.

Both Jergens and my buddies at Equate (ahem, Wal-Mart brand) make a gradual tanning lotion. I tried both, and preferred the Equate brand, because it is also a daily moisturizer. The Jergens and the Equate are available at Wal-mart.

Lastly,

For your face...

  • Get a tinted moisturizer.

For tinted moisturizer, I use E.L.F. Studio tinted moisturizer. With SPF 20, it is a great, light feeling product that won't leave your face greasy, and is great for all skin types ( I have oily skin and I LOVE it!)

Secondly,

  • Get a bronzer.

Physician's Formula makes a fatabulous product called Physician's Formula Multi- Colored Healthy Glow Bronzer   Which works great plus has a little pink to balance out the tan

Happy tanning!
