Earlier this week I recieved this pearl ring free from SneakPeeq, a great new deal site similar to HauteLook.

 Upon putting

it on my finger, a nostalgic feeling came over me. I've always loved pearls, particularly the simplicity of them. People, they literally match with everything. When I was first "getting into fashion" I thought pearls were for my grandma. Little did I realize, pearls had and have been an iconic piece of jewelry. From Elizabeth Taylor to Marilyn Monroe, the classic stars have adorned pearls.
